Redial / Femoral Introducer Sheath Set

Introducer Sheath Set is used to expand the percutaneous incision and establish the access to the blood vessel through the Seldinger method, assist the catheter to enter the artery or vein for operation.

    Product Features

    ●  Hydrophilic coated radial sheath lead to smoother navigation and easier vascular access, reducing the risk of damage to the vessel.
     Advanced material improves bendability and flexibility without gapping or kinking.
     Specially designed lock and silicon hemostatic valve provide outstanding hemostatic function while guaranteeing the operational ability for the catheter.
     The smooth tapered tip helps with easy access to the artery, reducing trauma to the patients.
     Smooth transition from dilator to sheath greatly reduces puncture resistance, providing easy and non-traumatic insertion

    Structure and material

    ● The disposable introducer set consists of sheath, dilator, puncture needle, guidewire,syringe and scalpel.
    ● The sheath is made of FEP, dialtor is made of polypropylene, the guidewire is made of stainless steel, the needle is made of polycarbonate and stainless steel, the scalpel is made of polycarbonate and stainless steel.

    Instructions for use 

    Preparation
    ● Inspect the sheath for damage before use.
    ● Flush the sheath and dilator with heparinized saline.
    ● Confirm compatibility with guidewires/catheters.
    Insertion Technique
    ● Perform Seldinger technique (needle puncture → guidewire insertion).
    ● Insert the sheath/dilator assembly over the guidewire.
    ● Advance smoothly under fluoroscopy until the hub is at the skin.
    ● Remove the dilator and guidewire, leaving the sheath in place.
    Sheath Management During Procedure
    ● Maintain continuous flushing to prevent air embolism or clotting.
    ● Use a hemostasis valve  to minimize blood loss.
    Removal & Post-Procedure Care
    ● Withdraw the sheath while applying manual compression to the access site.
    ● Monitor for hematoma, bleeding, or distal ischemia.
    ● Follow institutional protocols for post-procedural care (e.g., bed rest, monitoring).
