Angiography Catheter

Angiography Catheters are commonly used for imaging examinations of cardiovascular, peripheral blood vessels, and neurovascular systems. It injects contrast agents into blood vessels to help doctors clearly observe the anatomical structure and lesions of blood vessels, providing important basis for diagnosis and treatment.

    Product Features

    ● Excellent visibility under X-rays.
    ● Soft tapered catheter tip and smooth delivery.
    ● Durable shape retention and good bending resistance.
    ● Multiple sizes for option.

    Main structure

    ● Catheter body: Made of polymer material, it has good flexibility and resistance to twisting.
    ● Head end design: Typically a pre shaped design (such as pigtail, Judkins, Cobra, etc.) to accommodate different vascular anatomical structures.
    ● Side hole: For uniform injection of contrast agent.
    ● Near end interface: Connected to a syringe or high-pressure injector, used for injecting contrast agents.
    ● Non transparent marking: Facilitates intraoperative positioning.

    Instructions for use

    Preoperative preparation:
    ●  Evaluate the patient's vascular anatomy and select the appropriate contrast catheter model and tip shape.
    ●  Check the integrity of the catheter packaging to ensure sterility.
    ●  Prepare imaging equipment (such as DSA) and auxiliary instruments such as guide wires and syringes.
    Puncture and guidewire insertion:
    ●  Puncture the radial artery or femoral artery.
    ●  Insert the guidewire and push it to the proximal end of the target vessel.
    Contrast catheter insertion:
    ●  Push the contrast catheter along the guidewire to the target vessel.
    ●  Confirm the correct position of the catheter through imaging.
    Injection of contrast agent:
    ●  Inject contrast agent through a contrast catheter and observe the visualization of blood vessels.
    ●  Adjust the position of the catheter as needed to complete multi angle imaging.
    Postoperative treatment:
    ●  Remove the contrast catheter, apply pressure to stop bleeding, and bandage the puncture site.
    ●  Monitor patients' vital signs and prevent complications.

    Product application

    ● Cardiovascular angiography (such as coronary angiography, left ventricular angiography).
    ● Peripheral vascular angiography (such as lower limb artery and renal artery angiography).
    ● Neurovascular angiography (such as cerebral angiography).
    ● Structural heart disease diagnosis (such as congenital heart disease angiography).
