PTA Balloon Dilatation Catheter
Product Features
● Can withstand high pressure, suitable for calcified or severely narrowed lesions.
● During balloon dilation, the diameter remains stable to avoid excessive dilation.
● The catheter design facilitates the passage of curved or narrowed blood vessels.
● Provide balloons of different diameters and lengths to meet the needs of different lesions.
● Material safety, reducing vascular damage and rejection reactions.
● The balloon part can accurately expand and contract, and can complete the expansion and contraction actions in a short time, improving surgical efficiency.
Main structure
● Catheter: A slender tube, usually made of flexible material, that facilitates insertion into blood vessels or cavities.
● Balloon: located at the front end of the catheter, expandable after inflation, and made of materials with good flexibility and pressure resistance.
● Guidewire lumen: used for guiding wires to pass through and assist in accurate positioning of the catheter.
● Inflation port: connected to a balloon pressurization device for inflation and deflation, controlling the size of the balloon.
Instruction for use
● Flush the catheter and guidewire with heparinized saline to prevent clotting.
● Advance the guidewire to the target lesion under fluoroscopic guidance.
● Slide the PTA balloon catheter over the guidewire and position it across the lesion.
● Inflate the balloon using an inflation device to the recommended pressure, typically for 30-60 seconds.
● Deflate the balloon and assess the result using angiography.
● Withdraw the catheter and guidewire, ensuring hemostasis at the access site.
Product Application
● Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD): Treatment of blockages in the legs, arms, or kidneys.
● Renal Artery Stenosis: Dilation of narrowed renal arteries to improve kidney function.
● Carotid Artery Disease: Treatment of blockages in the carotid arteries to prevent stroke.
● Venous Disease: Used in venous angioplasty to treat conditions like deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or chronic venous insufficiency.
● Biliary and Ureteral Strictures: Dilation of narrowed bile ducts or ureters in non-vascular applications.
