One Step Wise Drainage Catheter

Tianck Mecical One-Step Wise Drainage Catheter is a medical device designed for minimally invasive fluid drainage in various clinical scenarios. The one-step drainage catheter offers a faster, simpler alternative to traditional multi-step drainage methods. It is ideal for emergency, bedside, or image-guided procedures where rapid fluid evacuation is critical.

    Product Features

    ● Integrated design: Combines needle, guidewire, and catheter in a single system.
    ● Self-dilating tip: Eliminates the need for separate tract dilation.
    ● Rapid deployment: Faster than traditional Seldinger technique.
    ● Ultrasound/CT-guided compatibility: Suitable for image-guided placement.

    COMPONENTS

    ● The kit is composed with drainage catheter, trocar needle, connecting tube, fixer.

    Instruction for use

    Pre-Procedure Preparation

    ● Patient Evaluation: Confirm indication via ultrasound, CT or fluoroscopy.
    ● Equipment Setup: One-step drainage catheter kit, Sterile drapes, gloves, antiseptic, local anesthetic, Imaging guidance, Syringes, extension tubing, drainage bag.

    Step-by-Step Placement

    ● Patient Positioning & Skin Marking: Position patient for optimal access (supine, prone, or lateral decubitus). Use US/CT to locate fluid collection and mark entry point.
    ● Sterile Prep & Local Anesthesia: Clean skin with chlorhexidine/iodine. Administer local anesthetic (lidocaine) along the needle tract.
    ● Needle Insertion: Insert the trocar needle (part of the one-step catheter) under real-time imaging guidance. Confirm needle tip position in the fluid collection (aspirate for diagnostic sample if needed).
    ● Catheter Deployment: Advance the integrated catheter over the needle/trocar into the cavity. Retract the needle/trocar, leaving the catheter in place.
    ● Secure & Connect Drainage: Suture the catheter to the skin (or use adhesive fixation device). Connect to a drainage bag or suction system. Confirm proper function (fluid flow) under imaging.

    Post-Procedure Care

    ● Monitor output (volume, character of fluid).
    ● Flush catheter (if needed) with sterile saline to prevent clogging.
    ● Imaging follow-up (US/CT) to confirm drainage efficacy.
    ● Remove catheter when drainage decreases or clinical resolution is achieved.
