Balloon Inflation Device - HP Type
Product Features
● Built to withstand and deliver extremely high pressures, often exceeding those of standard inflation devices.
● Provides real-time monitoring of inflation pressure, allowing for precise control and minimizing the risk of over-inflation.
● Features a user-friendly syringe-style handle for comfortable and efficient operation during lengthy or complex procedures.
● Allows the operator to lock the pressure at a specific level, maintaining consistent inflation without manual effort.
● Made from high-quality materials to ensure reliability and longevity, even under high-pressure conditions.
● Clear and accurate measurements for controlled inflation and deflation.
● Works seamlessly with high-pressure balloon catheters, ensuring versatility in medical applications.
Structure
● The balloon inflation device is composed of inflation device main body, putter(with handle), pressure gauge, extension tube and high pressure connector.
● Inflation device main body is made of polycarbonate and acrylonitrile but adiene styrene copolyme, Putter is made of styrene but adiene acrylonitrile copolymer, Piston is made of made of silicone, Extension tube is made of polycarbonate, High pressure connector is made of polycarbonate and silicone.
Instructions for use
Preoperative preparation:
● Check if the pressure pump is intact and ensure that the pressure gauge is reset to zero.
● Connect the inflation port of the balloon catheter to ensure sealing.
Inflating operation:
● Slowly rotate or press the inflation handle to inject physiological saline or diluted contrast agent into the balloon.
● Observe the pressure gauge to ensure that the pressure reaches the target value (usually 6-14 atmospheres).
Pressure maintenance:
● According to the surgical requirements, maintain the balloon expansion state for 30 seconds to several minutes.
● To adjust the pressure, it can be fine tuned through the inflation handle.
Deflation operation:
● Open the deflation valve and quickly release the pressure inside the balloon.
● After confirming that the balloon has fully retracted, withdraw the balloon catheter.
Postoperative treatment:
● Clean the pressure pump and store it properly for future use.
Product application
● Cardiology: Used in angioplasty to open blocked coronary arteries.
● Urology: For dilating urethral strictures or positioning ureteral stents.
● Gastroenterology: In procedures like esophageal or pyloric dilation.
● Orthopedics: For balloon kyphoplasty to treat spinal fractures.
