Guiding Catheter

Guiding Catheter is commonly used in cardiovascular intervention surgeries (such as coronary artery intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, etc.). Its main function is to provide a stable pathway for subsequent instruments (such as balloon catheters, stents) and ensure that surgical instruments can smoothly reach the lesion site.

    Product Features

    ● Provide stable support to facilitate the passage of subsequent instruments.
    ● Easy to navigate through curved or complex vascular anatomical structures.
    ● Adapt to different vascular anatomy (such as coronary arteries, renal arteries, peripheral blood vessels).
    ● Easy to use instruments such as balloon catheters and stents.
    ● Material safety, reducing vascular damage and rejection reactions.

    Instructions for use

    Preoperative preparation:
    ●  Evaluate the patient's vascular anatomy and select the appropriate guide catheter model and tip shape.
    ●  Check the integrity of the catheter packaging to ensure sterility.
    ● Prepare imaging equipment (such as DSA) and auxiliary instruments such as guide wires and balloon catheters.
    Puncture and guidewire insertion:
    ● Puncture the radial artery or femoral artery.
    ● Insert the guidewire and push it to the proximal end of the target vessel.
    Guiding catheter insertion:
    ● Push the guide tube along the guidewire to the target vessel opening.
    ● Confirm the correct position of the catheter through imaging.
    Injection of contrast agent:
    ● Inject contrast agent through a guiding catheter to identify the lesion site and vascular anatomy.
    Subsequent instrument operation:
    ● Surgical procedures are performed by introducing instruments such as guide wires, balloon catheters, or stents through guiding catheters.
    Postoperative treatment:
    ● Remove the guiding catheter, apply pressure to stop bleeding, and wrap the puncture site.
    ● Monitor patients' vital signs and prevent complications.

    Product application

    ● Coronary artery intervention therapy (such as PTCA, stent implantation).
    ● Peripheral vascular intervention therapy (such as lower limb artery and renal artery stenosis).
    ● Interventional therapy for structural heart disease (such as atrial septal defect closure).
    ● Neurointerventional therapy (such as cerebral vascular stenosis).
