Instruction for use
Prepare the Syringe:
● Attach the guidewire syringe to the needle or catheter hub using the Luer lock connection.
● Ensure the guidewire port is closed or covered to prevent air entry or blood leakage.
Confirm Vascular Access:
● Aspirate blood by pulling back the plunger to confirm proper needle placement in the vessel.
Insert the Guidewire:
● Open the guidewire port and insert the guidewire through the port while holding the syringe steady.
● Advance the guidewire smoothly into the vessel.
Remove the Syringe and Needle:
● Once the guidewire is in place, remove the syringe and needle, leaving the guidewire in the vessel.
Proceed with Catheter Placement:
● Thread the catheter or other device over the guidewire and into the vessel.
