Closed Suction System

● Closed suction catheters is made of medical polymer materials, non-toxic and non irritating.

● Scientic design and easy operation. 

● Smooth surface and tip of suction tube, no damage to the trachea mucosa.

● The unique design can ensure sputum suction and respiration at the same time without intermittent oxygen supply.

● The closed PE sheath can seal the sputum inside, effectively preventing cross  infection.

● The large aperture design of the sputum inlet make sure no blocking in the tube.

● Connect the tee end main connector with the connecting end of tracheal tube, and connect the tee end side connector with respirator.

● Connect the negative pressure suction control valve with the negative pressure suction device, and paste the date label on the negative pressure control valve.

● Hold the tee end with one hand, insert the suction tube into the tracheal tube to the appropriate depth.

● Press the negative pressure suction control valve and conduct conventional suction, suction time should not exceed 15 seconds.

● When the patient's secretion is thick, it can be flushed through the flush tube on tee end. Injected appropriate amount of sterile saline/expectorant with a syringe through the flush interface, dilute and then aspirate.

● After suctioning, draw the suction tube back slowly until the transparent film is straightened.

● Press the negative pressure suction control valve. at the same time, inject normal saline / distilled water into the suction tube through the flush tube under the tee end to wash the suction tube for repeated use.

● The suction catheter is advanced through the protective sleeve into the patient's airway.

● The control valve is activated to apply suction, removing secretions.

● The catheter is withdrawn back into the sleeve, maintaining a closed system.

● The process can be repeated as needed without disconnecting the patient from the ventilator.
