Balloon Inflation Device - B Type
Product Features
● Allows healthcare professionals to monitor and control the pressure applied during balloon inflation.
● Ergonomically designed for easy handling and precise control.
● Prevents accidental over-inflation by locking the pressure at a desired level.
● Designed to work with specific balloon catheters, ensuring seamless integration during procedures.
● Provides clear measurements for accurate inflation and deflation.
Structure and material
● Syringe Body and Plunger: Made from high-quality, medical-grade polycarbonate or polypropylene.
● Pressure Gauge: Constructed with a combination of stainless steel (for internal components) and shatter-resistant glass or polycarbonate for the display.
● Connector: Typically made from medical-grade polymers or stainless steel for a secure, leak-proof connection.
● Seals and O-Rings: Made from silicone or rubber to ensure airtight functionality and prevent fluid leakage.
● Handle/Grip: Often coated with non-slip materials like rubber or textured polymers for enhanced grip and control.
Instructions for use
Preoperative preparation:
● Check if the pressure pump is intact and ensure that the pressure gauge is reset to zero.
● Connect the inflation port of the balloon catheter to ensure sealing.
Inflating operation:
● Slowly rotate or press the inflation handle to inject physiological saline or diluted contrast agent into the balloon.
● Observe the pressure gauge to ensure that the pressure reaches the target value (usually 6-14 atmospheres).
Pressure maintenance:
● According to the surgical requirements, maintain the balloon expansion state for 30 seconds to several minutes.
● To adjust the pressure, it can be fine tuned through the inflation handle.
Deflation operation:
● Open the deflation valve and quickly release the pressure inside the balloon.
● After confirming that the balloon has fully retracted, withdraw the balloon catheter.
Postoperative treatment:
● Clean the pressure pump and store it properly for future use.
Product application
● Angioplasty: Inflating balloons to open narrowed or blocked arteries.
● Stent Deployment: Assisting in the precise placement and expansion of stents.
● Valvuloplasty: Repairing heart valves by inflating balloons to widen the valve opening.
● Urological Procedures: Used in treatments requiring balloon dilation, such as urethral strictures.
