Balloon Inflation Device - A Type
Product Features
● Controlled Balloon Inflation – Delivers a precise volume of liquid (usually a saline-contrast mixture) to expand the balloon.
● Pressure Monitoring – Manifold or digital displays show real-time pressure (in atm or psi) to avoid overinflation.
● Gradual Deflation – Allows slow, controlled deflation to prevent vessel trauma.
● Compatibility – Works with various balloon catheters (coronary, peripheral, valvuloplasty, etc.).
Structure
● Syringe – 25 ML, filled with saline + contrast dye.
● Pressure Gauge (Manometer) – Displays inflation pressure (e.g., 1–30 atm).
● Locking Mechanism – Maintains pressure during inflation.
● Connector Tubing – Links to the balloon catheter.
● Deflation Control – Allows gradual release of pressure.
Instructions for use
Preparation:
● Inspect the device for any damage or defects.
● Fill the syringe with the recommended inflation fluid (sterile saline or contrast medium) and purge air bubbles.
Connecting the Catheter:
● Attach the balloon catheter securely to the device with Luer lock.
Inflation:
● Slowly depress the plunger to inflate the balloon, monitoring the volume of fluid delivered.
● Avoid rapid inflation to prevent balloon rupture or tissue damage.
Deflation:
● Slowly retract the plunger to deflate the balloon completely before removal.
Post-Procedure:
● Disconnect the catheter and dispose of single-use components according to medical waste protocols.
● Clean and sterilize reusable components if applicable.
Product application
● Coronary artery intervention therapy (such as PTCA, stent implantation).
● Peripheral vascular intervention therapy (such as lower limb artery and renal artery stenosis).
● Interventional therapy for structural heart disease (such as atrial septal defect closure).
● Interventional therapy for urinary system (such as ureteral stricture and dilation).
